Warsaw (Puls Biznesu) – Star Foods and MD Snacks - liders at polish snacks' market are going to expand internally and abroad. The first one will invest EUR 4million, the other one USD 3million. Both want to be listed in e couple of years.
DM Snacks wants to invest this year PLN 16million in order to triple the capacity of crisps and broaden the offer of cornflakes. This year the turnover will rise by PLN 10million, 20 per cent makes export. Next year DM Snacks will introduce new type of snacks and plan to boost export sales. The company wants to be listed in 2007 r.
Star Foods is buying a plant in Ukraine and it is going to start production by the end of this year. According to the management, in 2005 sales schould grow up to PLN 370million from PLN 330million last year. Star Foods wants to increase it worth and then go public, probably in next few years.
