Private hospital soon to open
Private hospital provider Medicor is looking at increasing its hotel investment by adding a hospital in Gdansk to the clinics it already has in Tczew, Gdynia and Gdańsk.
The hospital will be able to perform operations although the developers are looking to save money by using outsourcing for supply of medicines and catering amongst others. This is following the model for private hospitals in Germany, Austria and Switzerland.
Nest month the first department of the hospital will come on line in rented accommodation. For Medicor this will be a trial to see if it is worth opening a sixty bed hospital.
