Problems with the authorities over alleged misconduct in their life assurance wing is not the only legal problem facing insurer PZU. Indeed they are involved in at least 9,000 legal cases with clients demanding around PLN267m. This large number of cases is in no small part due to specifics of the insurance business and expectations of clients.
