Warsaw (Puls Biznesu) – SkyEurope, the Central-European low-cost airline, wants to be listed in Warsaw and Vienna . It is going to sell 10m new shares and 1.8m of present shares. If the demand is big, 1.18m more shares will be offered. The price range amounts to EUR 5-10. The offer may be worth EUR 130m. The Slovakian airline needs capital to finance its fleet. In May, it ordered 16 new Boeing 737-700 planes. It also has option for 16 other aircraft. The order is worth USD 880m (EUR 716.3m).
SkyEurope has 15 aircraft. Last year, it had 956,000 passengers, up from 171,410 passengers a year earlier. Its sales grew from EUR 13.1m to EUR 63m. It has its bases in Bratislava , Kosice , Budapest, Krakow and Warsaw . SkyEurope Holding is its biggest shareholder (52 percent), a consortium of the European Bank of Reconstruction and Development, Dutch ABN Amro and European Investment Fund.
