Kraków based steel maker Huta Sendzimira (HTS) is hoping to come to a deal with its creditors before the year is out and reduce its short term indebtedness from around PLN1.1bn to PLN600m by next summer. HTS has also said that it will join Polish Steel (PHS) only after it has come to a deal with its creditors. Privatisation however will need a period of restructuring which could continue for two to three years.
