Stoen energy provider invests PLN 200m

Warsaw (Puls Biznesu) – Stoen, Warsaw electric energy distributor controlled by German RWE, will have lower net income last year when it amounted to PLN 133m (EUR 32.8m). Jacek Koczywas, the member of Stoen board responsible for the network, said that it would be less than PLN 100m, while unofficial sources say it may be even PLN 70m.

Jacek Koczywas, the member of Stoen board responsible for the network, said that it would be less than PLN 100m, while unofficial sources say it may be even PLN 70m.

This year, the company plans to invest PLN 200m in energy network in Warsaw. In next years, investments will amount to PLN 100m each year. It holds talks to buy intangible assets with Swedish Vattenfall. Stoen spends PLN 30-40m a year for new clients. It has 850,000 of clients today, or 30,000 more than in January.
