Warsaw (Puls Biznesu) – Next week, the integrator listed on the Warsaw Stock Exchange signs a strategic contract. It should be Microsoft’s main partner in business solutions. The contract will give Sygnity several dozens million dollars of annual sales.

Sygnity has recently said it was about to sign a strategic contract with one of world corporations which will result in substantial increase of sales generated in the business of enterprises and utilities. According to unofficial sources, Microsoft is going to be the partner. The contract will be signed next week.

“The contract will provide for sales increase of several hundreds percent. Out of several million dollars Sygnity generates from the sale of Microsoft products, it will be several dozens millions within several years. This is an important partnership contract for the company and a response to new strategies of business software leaders, including SAP and Oracle, who want to implement their products themselves and not with local partners”, “PB” source said.

Michal Michalski, Sygnity spokesman, refused to comment on the news. “We will reveal details when the contract is signed”, Michal Michalski said.

Jacek Kalinowski, Microsoft Poland spokesman, was unavailable for comment.

Sygnity was funded in the merger of Emax and Computerland. In 2007, the company had financial difficulties: big losses and big debts. The new management started restructuring the company last year. The process should be ended this year. In the first quarter, however, the company had PLN 26m (EUR 7.7m) of net loss and PLN 24m of operating loss. Piotr Kardach, Sygnity CEO, said that this would be the last quarter ended with operating loss. He also promised a net income at the end of the year.
