Gas monopoly PGNiG and oil refiner and distributor PKN may decide to pull out of the consortium El Dystrybucja on Tuesday. The company is bidding with Elektrim to take a strategic stake in the G8 group of distribution companies, the largest electricity company in Poland which has a 16 percent national market share.
On Wednesday Elektrim is to present its privatisation plans to the treasury and unions.
Kulczyk Holding has a 74 percent stake in El Dystrybucji.
Elektrim has only negotiating exclusivity in the sale until 18 November but it is widely expected to come to a deal with the treasury.
