The first half of this year has been very negative for the insurance industry with property insurance premiums dropping and clients giving up on life assurance. To make things worse the SLD government has increased political interference on the largest insurer PZU and on the industry watchdog. It therefore comes as no surprise that three foreign companies have left the market.
