June future contracts of WIG20 fell 0.26 percent. WIG, the general index ended at its new record of 57,524.57 points. sWIG80 and mWIG40 rose to their all-time heights as well.
PKN Orlen was the best blue chips this week with the stock gaining 5.6 percent. Next week may not be that good after KazMunaiGaz said it would not sign oil contract to explore Kazakh oil with the Polish fuel giant. All fuel companies had a good week, their subindex rose 3.55 percent while WIG20 gained 0.24 percent. Fuel companies gained on increasing oil prices. Grupa Lotos rose 5 percent this week.
TVN media group shed 5.2 percent last week. Bioton
insulin producer lost 4.3 percent. Last week, the company said again it would
like to be listed on Nasdaq.
