Warsaw (Puls Biznesu) – During the Friday session, the nervous atmosphere on the Warsaw Stock Exchange observed on Thursday calmed dow. WIG20 rebounded 0.31 percent.
Shares of blue chips worth PLN 100m less than yesterday changed hands. The situation in Poland will depend on world markets, especially on the Wall Street, which on Friday opened up. MIDWIG and WIRR rose 1.5 and 2.2 percent respectively after a day earlier they fell 3.3 and 4.1 percent respectively. The week was not good for stock investors altogether. WIG20 lost 3.01 percent in the last five days.
TP telecom and TVN media group dragged the index down. TP faces record find from Electronic Communications Office UKE while its domineering position may be endangered by Russian Sistema. TP lost 6.95 percent this week. TVN media group fell 6.9 percent. Rival Agora gained 5.2 percent on the other hand. On Tuesday, the company will publish fourth quarter results. Analysts expect improvement. Bioton insulin producer added 3.5 percent this week.
