Warsaw (Puls Biznesu)–Air Europa, a Spanish airline, which has recorded profit on flights from Warsaw to Madrid since May, is extending its offer. Since July 1 there will be six flights to Madrid week.
Moreover, a new schedule will allow the passengers to change in Madrid for long-haul flights, e.g. to Cancun in Mexico. ‘The company has also plans to sign contracts for winter flights to the Carrabean, Brazil Venezuela’ said the airline’s representative, Robert Grzybowski.
After a few months of operation in Warsaw and Prague, where the airline launched its services at the same time, the differences in attractiveness of both capitals are clearly seen. Although, as far as the flights to Madrid are concerned, the interest of Poles is much bigger, many more Spaniards fly to Prague than to Warsaw. According to Grzybowski, the difference is a result of a better promotion of the Czech capital.
