Warsaw (Puls Biznesu) – Arteria, which is going to be listed soon, has bought a financial company jointly with Oresa Ventures fund.
Arteria, the Warsaw company specializing in sales outsourcing, together with Oresa Ventures, a Scandinavian fund, has bought PKF, a company dealing in credits and finances in Poland. The value of the transaction amounts to EUR 8m, according to “PB” sources.
“We have invested in the company and hope that its value will grow. Meanwhile, we will offer it outsourcing services. Cooperation with Oresa Ventures gives us new growth potential”, Wojciech Bienkowski, Arteria CEO said.
The Scandinavian investment fund is present mainly in Poland and Romania. It has so far invested EUR 100m in the region, mainly in Medicover healthcare company.
Arteria submitted its issue prospectus in the middle of September. It wants to raise above PLN 10m in the issue in order to develop its call center and sales network. Further acquisitions are also taken into account.
“It’s hard to tell exactly when the IPO takes place but we want to be listed this year. As far as the results are concerned, we expect to keep the same growth dynamics in the second half of the year as it was in the first six months of this year”, Arteria CEO added.
In the first half of the year, the company had PLN 6.55m (EUR 1.7m) of sales (110 percent more than in the same period of 2005). The net income amounted to PLN 780,000.
