Carlo Tessara’s bank in Poland has already 150 managers

Warsaw (Puls Biznesu) – Today, nationwide recruitment for the bank built by Wojciech Sobieraj starts. Over 1,000 people will be employed in the first stage.

Wojciech Sobieraj has already built a team of 150 managers from 17 banks to work in the new bank in Poland launched by Italian fund Carlo Tessara. The managers come from Poland, the USA and the UK.

“We are very much interested in employing the Poles who raise their qualifications abroad. We will lure them to come here”, Wojciech Sobieraj promised.

He has already employed heads of certain businesses and regional outlets. There are four people in the management, two business (retail and corporate ones) and 8-10 regional outlets. This year, 1,000 people will be employed in the bank which in the future will have 3,500 workers.

Today, recruitment of back office workers starts. The back office is located in Krakow. Employing of front office employees is being launched as well for the outlets all over the country.

“We will be present in all bigger towns this year”, Wojciech Sobieraj said.

This means at least 49 towns. There will be several outlets in big cities. The bank wants to have 200 of its own outlets plus 400 partner outlets.

With the planned capitalization, the new bank will be in the top ten in Poland.

“We want to win 2-4 percent of the market within three years and have 1m clients”, the head of the bank said.

The new entity has its name and logo but they won’t be revealed unless the financial supervision authority gives its approval to launch operations. The launch is planned in the third quarter of this year.
