Warsaw (Puls Biznesu) – CNH Polska, one of Poland’s largest farming vehicles producer, sold 1,000 combines last year.
Next year, production should grow to over 1,300 units, Zbigniew Pokorski, a member of CNH Polska board said.
In 1998, before CNH acquired the plant, it had produced 800 combines. Next year, only 250 of them.
Sales growth are connected with rising exports.
We have increased our exports to Turkey, where 30 percent of our machines are sold. This year, we also managed to increase sales of elements to our companies in Belgium, Brazil and the USA, Zbigniew Pokorski said.
In Poland, the company has 40 percent of the combine market.
Despite growing sales, the net income will be smaller than in 2004 when it amounted to USD 11m.
