There are 191 MVNO in Poland. Only six of them have launched operations. Till the end of last year, they lured only 51,000 clients. myAvon said in May 2007, it hoped to have 220,000-500,000 clients till the end of last year. mBank mobile hoped to have 150,000 of them. This year, the situation may change dramatically. There are over 10 companies planning to launch operations, including Internet Group and Danish Telogic (MVNE), Telefonia Dialog, Gadu-Gadu, Aster, Dlugie Rozmowy and Pralat Mobile, a company of priest Jankowski.
The Office for Electronic Communications (UKE) estimates that virtual operators will have 5-10 percent of the market which at the end of 2007 amounted to PLN 23.5bn. In 2010, MVNO could have PLN 2.5bn of sales.
All mobile operators in Poland had 41.51m clients in 2007, including 14.16m of Centertel, 13.45 of Polkomtel, 13.00m of PTC and 0.85m of P4.
