Warsaw (Puls Biznesu) – Grupa Famur, the company comprising of coal firms, reiterated its plans to be listed this year. However, it provides no details.

Grupa Famur said it would be listed in the first quarter of this year. However, at the end of last year the company bought 94 percent in Pioma, the producer of mining machines. Now it has to prepare a new issue prospectus.

“We reiterate our plans of an IPO this year”, Waldemar Laski, Famur CEO said.

He added that the final date of the issue and the structure of it will depend on Famur’s strategy in 2006 and further years as well as the situation in the capital and mining machines market.

In September last year, the CEO said that the company would like to raise PLN 100m (EUR 26.3m) to be spent on acquisitions and new sales markets. In the first half of 2005, Famur had PLN 119.8m of sales and PLN 26.5m of net income. The company’s shareholders include the following private companies: Polaris, Lodus and Chemia Wroclaw.
