Zarząd spółki CD PROJEKT S.A. z siedzibą w Warszawie, przy ul. Jagiellońskiej 74 (dalej: Spółka), w nawiązaniu do informacji przekazanych w Raporcie Bieżącym nr 5/2020 z dnia 18 czerwca 2020 roku, niniejszym informuje, o podjęciu w dniu dzisiejszym decyzji o przesunięciu ustalonej wcześniej daty premiery gry „Cyberpunk 2077” na dzień 10 grudnia 2020 roku.

Przesunięcie daty premiery wynika ze złożoności finalnych procesów optymalizacji działania gry na dziewięciu platformach obecnej i przyszłej generacji (Xbox One/X, wsteczna kompatybilność na Xbox Series S/X, PlayStation 4/Pro, wsteczna kompatybilność na PlayStation 5, PC, Stadia), na których zostanie wydana oraz testowania jej na tych platformach w warunkach dużego rozproszenia zespołu produkcyjnego. Wskazane działania wymagają zapewnienia dodatkowego czasu ze strony Spółki.

W ocenie Zarządu przesunięcie daty premiery o 21 dni pozostaje w długoterminowym interesie Spółki i jej akcjonariuszy.

Ponadto Zarząd Spółki informuje, że w dniu 26 października 2020 r. podjął decyzję o opóźnieniu przekazania informacji poufnej do publicznej wiadomości, zgodnie z art. 17 ust. 4 Rozporządzenia Parlamentu Europejskiego i Rady (UE) nr 596/2014 z dnia 16 kwietnia 2014 r. w sprawie nadużyć na rynku (rozporządzenie w sprawie nadużyć na rynku) oraz uchylającego dyrektywę 2003/6/WE Parlamentu Europejskiego i Rady i dyrektywy Komisji 2003/124/WE, 2003/125/WE i 2004/72/WE. Informacja poufna z dnia 26 października 2020 r. dotyczyła podjęcia analizy zasadności wydania gry we wcześniej podanym terminie, w oparciu o aktualną ocenę stanu prac związanych z jej optymalizacją. Przyczyną ujawnienia opóźnionej informacji poufnej jest podjęcie, w dniu 27 października 2020 r., przez Zarząd Spółki decyzji o przesunięciu daty premiery gry „Cyberpunk 2077”.

	MESSAGE (ENGLISH VERSION)
	Current report No. 53/2020 Subject: Postponement of Cyberpunk 2077 release Legal basis: Art. 17 of the Market Abuse Regulation (MAR) In relation to information disclosed in Current Report no. 5/2020 of 18 June 2020, the Management Board of CD PROJEKT S.A. with a registered office in Warsaw, Jagiellońska 74 (hereinafter referred to as “the Company”) hereby announces that earlier today it had decided to postpone the scheduled release of Cyberpunk 2077 until 10 December 2020. The delay is caused by the complexity of the final stages of optimizing the game’s performance on nine distinct hardware platforms, both current- and next-gen (Xbox One/X, backward compatibility on Xbox Series S/X, PlayStation 4/Pro, backward compatibility on PlayStation 5, PC and Stadia), for which the game is targeted, and of the associated testing processes which must be carried out by a physically dispersed development team. Completion of the aforementioned activities requires the Company to secure additional time. In the Management Board’s opinion postponing the release by 21 days is consistent with the long-term interests of the Company and its shareholders. Furthermore, the Management Board of the Company wishes to announce that on 26 October 2020 it undertook a decision to proceed with delayed disclosure of inside information under Art. 17 section 4 of the Regulation (EU) No 596/2014 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 16 April 2014 on market abuse (market abuse regulation) and repealing Directive 2003/6/EC of the European Parliament and of the Council and Commission Directives 2003/124/EC, 2003/125/EC and 2004/72/EC. The inside information arising on 26 October 2020 comprised an analysis of the advisability of releasing the game on the scheduled date given the current assessment of the course of its associated optimization work. The reason for the eventual disclosure of this delayed inside information is the decision, undertaken by the Management Board of the Company on 27 October 2020, concerning postponement of the Cyberpunk 2077 release date.
