Warsaw (Puls Biznesu) – Kamco, Korean government company, which demands Polish car plant FSO to repay USD 570 m (EUR 437 m) of debts to Daewoo UK, which in turn owes the money to Kamco, invites the Polish Treasury Ministry to come for talks to Korea at the beginning of February.

'The representatives of Kamco, Daewoo Motor Corporation, FSO and the Polish government would take part in the meeting. Next week, the invitations will be sent’, Thomas Kolaja from CII Group representing Kamco said.

‘If Kamco has any claims, it should take the legal way. The Treasury Ministry is not a side in the case. We cannot let it disturb talks with investor’, Dariusz Witkowski, deputy Treasury Minister commented. Poland holds talks with Ukrainian AwtoZAZ, a potential investor in the Warsaw car plant. Thomas Kolaja stressed that Kamco wanted to reach settlement.
