“The situation makes us try to pay the lowest acceptable dividend”, Miroslaw Krutin, KGHM CEO said.
The copper producer said in the middle of the year that it wanted to continue paying out a dividend amounting to 20-50 percent of its income. The company stressed, however, that it would depend on its investment program.
In 2007, KGHM paid PLN 9 (EUR 2.3) per share, i.e. PLN 1.8bn in total.
