Warsaw (Puls Biznesu) – Two companies from the mining sector want to raise about PLN 300m (EUR from the stock market.

Listed Kopex and Famur want to raise PLN 300m (EUR 74.4m) in the Warsaw Stock Exchange.

“We are preparing a new issue for investors. It will be worth about PLN 300m”, Leszek Jedrzejwski, the member of the supervisory board and one of the owners of ZZM which controls over 65 percent of Kopex, said.

Kopex is preparing the issue prospectus. The company, which today trades mining machines, is going to transform into producer and trader via a capital connection with ZZM. Last year, ZZM had PLN 40m of net income against PLN 248m of sales. Kopex had PLN 19.5m and PLN 586m respectively.(PLN 1 = EUR 0.248)
