Krzysztof Moska, the well-known stock investor present in companies including Lentex, Novita, Hygienika, Sanwil and Zabkowice Erg, confirmed “PB” news published yesterday that he is interested in Paged, the holding operating in furniture and wooden sectors.
“I registered 350,000 shares of Paged at the upcoming GSM”, the investor said.
This is slightly above 3.7 percent of the capital. But Krzysztof Moska has bigger plans.
“I’m not going to be an ordinary shareholder in Paged. I’m interested in much a bigger stake”, he said.
He has already submitted offers to Opera TFI fund (Edmund Mzyk, Paged main shareholder transfers his stock there) and to Yawal. The latter produces aluminum constructions and is also controlled by Edmund Mzyk. In both cases, stakes of 10 percent of the capital are concerned.
“Opera has so far not answered to my offer. Yawal CEO said we would talk during the GSM”, Krzysztof Moska said.
He believes it would make sense for him to be Paged shareholder only if he manages to buy a stake from one of the above mentioned shareholders. Edmund Mzyk said that Paged stock is just investment for him and he wants to withdraw from managing the company. Krzysztof Moska reveals that he had offered to by the stock for PLN 50-60 (EUR 13.1-15.8) each.
“It’s a good price for the owners of big stakes. Especially that their value has risen in recent weeks”, he explained.
After “PB” wrote yesterday that he was interested in Paged, the stock jumped below 20 percent to PLN 65. A day earlier, it dived 21.5 percent. Before, in several weeks, the price had tripled.
Krzysztof Moska believes that Paged suits well the companies he already owns. Paged produces furniture and could use fibers produced by Lentex or artificial materials produced by Sanwil. Krzysztof Moska supports the idea to split the group into two independent companies: one producing furniture and another specialized in boards and plywood.
