The first analysis was made in 2002, the next one in 2006. The newest analysis is supposed to definitely decide whether the central airport will be built in Poland.
“Experts, and not politicians should make the decision. That’s why experts will prepare such an analysis. It will show the influence of the investment for regional ports. I don’t say whether such a port will be built but we all feel somehow it will be so”, Tadeusz Jarmuziewicz, deputy minister of infrastructure said.
The analysis should be ready in fall 2009. The investment would be conducted in public-private partnership system with an airline being the most important partner.
