No info, no offer for Kędzierzyn plant
The Czech Agrofert, believed to be one of the favourites to acquire the Kędzierzyn chemical plant, did not put in an offer on time. The deadline was 11 May. Agrofert claimed that as it did not get information on the current state of debt of the company together with details concerning deals done with creditors in 1999 that it would put in an offer in the privatisation of the plant. Agrofert however did not burn its bridges. They have asked the treasury to persuade the board to release the information it requires and it will continue in the race.
