Poland/Enterprises/Food <br>Warsaw (Puls Biznesu) – Agros Nova, beverages producer controlled by Enterprise Investors funds heads for targets announced at the beginning of the year, i.e. increasing sales by 27 percent to PLN 733 million (EUR 173.7 million) and enlarging in juice and beverages market share by 8 percentage points to 26 percent. ‘Agros Nova is acquiring rival brand Dr Witt’, Joanna Bancerowska, Agros Nova spokesperson said. She refused to give details of the transaction which will be published on Thursday. ‘This is a brand with a huge potential, which has not been used well enough recently. Together with the brand, Agros bought a substantial market share’, Julian Pawlak, the CEO of National Juice Producers Union commented. <br>Agros Nova was founded in 2003 when Agros Fortuna and Sonda were merged. It has the following brands in its portfolio: Fortuna, Garden, Pysio, Tarczyn, Łowicz, and Krakus. Enterprise Investors funds plant to go out of the investment within 3-4 years, probably through the stock exchange. Dr Witt has had financial problems recently.
