Warsaw (Puls Biznesu) – Polski Koks (PK), the Polish exporter of coke, had PLN 4.5 billion (EUR 1.2 billion) of sales in 2005, according to preliminary data. In 2004, sales were PLN 1 billion higher.
“This is the result of price decreases in international markets”, Jozef Mielnikiewicz, PK CEO explained.
The company had PLN 11m of net income last year. This year, PK plans to sell 4.7m tons of coke. Last year, it was 2.9m tons.
