Warsaw (Puls Biznesu) – The door producer is about to invest abroad again.
Porta Drzwi, one of Poland’s leading door producers, may soon invest in Ukraine. The company has already found a land where it is going to build its second foreign plant, next to the one in Romania.
“This is nearly 5 ha of land in Nizyn where we would have a greenfield project”, Jacek Sarnowski, Porta Drzwi CEO and deputy CEO of Baltis group said.
He estimates that the project may amount to EUR 15m. Construction works which should start in Autumn 2008, would be financed from banking credits. Porta Drzwi has four plants in Poland, including two in Elk, one in Bolszewo and one in Suwalki.
Last year, the company had PLN 270m (EUR 73.4m) of sales. This year, it plans PLN 360m.
“In 2008, we plan PLN 400m of sales”, the CEO revealed.
Porta Drzwi is a company from Grupa Baltis which plans an IPO next year.
