Prima Charter (PCh) airline has financial difficulties. Two suits have been filed to the court already concerning its bankruptcy. Their authors are shareholders-to-be, and today, PCh creditors. Three consecutive capital increases have not been registered yet. That’s why several dozens investors decided to withdraw from the project. They wanted to get their money (PLN 10m) back several months ago. One of the investors is going to inform the prosecutor’s office about the case.
Krzysztof Szymanski who was PCh deputy CEO till November 30th 2007, said that Grzegorz Gniady, the chairman and Cash Flow deputy CEO was responsible for the fact that investors did not get their money back.
“Mr. Gniady did not agree to pay back the debt. This is one of the issues we quarreled about and which made me leave”, Krzysztof Szymanski said.
Grzegorz Gniady stressed that he did not forbid the ex-deputy CEO of PCh to pay back their money.
“I only pointed out that in several questionable cases, courts should explain these things”, Grzegorz Gniady said.
He assured that the financial situation of the company will get better. Yesterday, a file was suit at court in order to increase PCh’s capital from PLN 40m to PLN 75.6m.
“We are still running talks to lease additional planes and let new investors into the company”, Adam Wychowanies, PCh ex-CEO and today member of the board said.
PCh was supposed to generate PLN 20.4m of net
income and PLN 228m of sales. After 10 months of the year, it had PLN 120m of
sales and PLN 20m of net loss.
