Regional carriers have no chance

The PKP regional subsidiary will start carrying passengers in October. Its losses are supposed to be met by local government, although this is unlikely as they do not have sufficient reserves and in any case are well behind on other payments to the railways. Money raised from ticket sales on regional railways would barely cover thirty percent of costs.
