Warsaw (Puls Biznesu) – Swarzedz, the Polish listed furniture producer, may gain thanks to capital connections with Mebelplast. The stock grows.

Yesterday, the stock of the furniture producer was increasing even 43 percent to PLN 1.3 (EUR 0.3) after the company said it started strategic partnership with Mebelplast. The companies may exchange their capital.

“The potential merger is good reason for Swarzedz stock to rise”, Remigiusz Sopel, IDM analyst commented.

Mebelplast is profitable and has annual sales of PLN 100m. Swarzedz has been facing bankruptcy not long ago. Thanks to a stock issue, the furniture producer managed to survive.

“The merger with Mebelplast would be much more advantageous to Swarzedz than it usually happens”, Remigiusz Sopel added.

The merger would strengthen the listed company and improve its image. The synergies would for both firms be bigger than it would seem just adding their financial results. The bigger scale and sharing their foreign contracts would be another advantage.

“If the merger comes true, Swarzedz stock should grow even more”, the analyst commented.
