Warsaw (Puls Biznesu) – In July, the unemployment fell to 15.7 percent from 16 percent in June, the Ministry of Labor and Social Policies asid.

At the end of July, there were 2.445m people without job, or 42,300 fewer than at the end of June. Since the beginning of the year, the number of people staying without work fell by 327,700.

“Although the unemployment fell in July, the number of newly registered people looking for a job grew. These are people who ended learning or who are not in seasonal jobs any longer. Many people albeit fewer than in June were excluded from the unemployment registers. Some of them found a job at socially useful works subsidized from the Labor Fund. Many people gave up their status of an unemployed because they went abroad”, the Ministry explained in a statement.
