Warsaw (Puls Biznesu) - Film producers prefer the Czech Republic to Poland. Agnieszka Odorowicz, head of the Polish Film Institute, wants to change it. She fights for easier VAT refunds for foreign movie producers. The risks for tax authorities are minor compared to the chance of having a Polish Hollywood in the country. The state could collect USD 150 million annually from Western film producers.
