Warsaw (Puls Biznesu) – On Friday, the WIG20 index lost 0.33 percent to 2,124.25 points. Nevertheless, the ending week has been quite good for stock investors. The main index rose 2.26 percent. Today, shares worth PLN 590m (EUR 141.6m) changed hands while yesterday it was PLN 557m.
Among Polish listed giants, TPSA telecom rebounded after Thursday losses and rose 0.5 percent while shares worth PLN 140m changed hands. PKN Orlen fuel giant lost 2 percent and was the worst performer among blue chips while shares worth PLN 80m changed hands.
Atlantis was the best performer in the whole week – the company jumped 27 percent. Investors hope that the company could find investor in July. Rumours say it would be WAN, which already has a 10.3 percent stake in Atlantis.
