Warsaw (Puls Biznesu) – Till the end of August, 27 new companies will probably be listed on the Polish stock exchange GPW. In 2004, 36 IPOs were conducted in Poland. This year, 16 issue documents and two issue notices have been submitted to the Securities and Exchange Commission KPWiG. 12 of them are not listed yet, including two state-owned and one foreign company.The companies to be listed include: Bioton, Zlomrex, American Restaurants, Lena Lighting, Polish Energy Partners, Zabka, Opoczno. Maks Sport, IDM SA, Anica Systems, Belvedere, Podravka, Cash Flow, Profi, TravelPlanet. The following comanies said they would be listed this year: CEDC, Action, Kross, NTT System, Barlinek, Ambra, Polmeat, Gino Rossi, Mars, Teta, Nova Trading, Solaris, Interferia, Unima 2000, Polskie Towarzystwo Ubezpieczen, Hurtap.4-5 state-owned companies were to be listed in the first seven months of this year, but only Polmos Bialystok vodka producer and Zaklady Azotowe Pulawy chemical producer will conduct their IPOs. PZU insurer will be listed at the year-end. Enea energy company and PGNiG gas monopoly will also be listed later in the year.
