Advertising spend up and stagnating

During 2 months time, incomes from advertising in television, radio, press and magazines climbed more than 1 mld zl, as reported by Expert Monitor agency. It makes 21 percent more than in correspond period last year. Highest incomes for television — in two months — 624,4 mln zl what makes 24 percent increase comparing to year 1999, lowest income belongs to radio with 15 percent increase. Those results can be consequence of granting discounts to most of bigger clients (often between 30 percent and 40 percent) and Expert Monitor report is based on price-list. Agencies still say about stopped Polish ad market and present situation as a test for media.
