French want all of Agros

The stock market control body KPWiG has agreed to the proposal of the French Pernod Ricard to make an offer of PLN41.50 for the shares in Agros. The French companies wants to obtain all the 63 percent of the stock that it does not possess. At the beginning of this week the shares were trading at around PLN32 each.

Agnieszka Malec, an analyst at COK BH said that she thought the French offer was very attractive. She expects that the next move would be to pull the company off the stock exchange.

Last year was difficult for Agros which lost PLN10.4m on a PLN125m turnover. A difficult restructuring process is clearly ahead of it.
