Warsaw (Puls Biznesu) – In July, PLL LOT, the Polish flag carrier, said it would again launch routes to Zielona Gora and Lodz and fly to Bydgoszcz and Katowice with more frequency. The changes were to be introduced in the middle of September. They haven’t been.
The Warsaw Jet Air company was to operate those routes but it hasn’t managed to receive required certificates. “The company is still trying to get the licence. On September 26th an audit will be conducted. If all documents and machines are proper, the proceedings should end within a week”, Katarzyna Krasnodebska, the spokesperson of the Civil Aviation Authorities explained.
“We are able to launch those routes within two weeks after Jet Air receives the certificate. This means that the flights to Lodz or Katowice will be delayed”, Pawel Klimiuk from LOT press office said.
