Warsaw (Puls Biznesu) – Jozef Wojciechowski, the CEO of Poland’s biggest homebuilding company, is going to become a big producer of ecological fuel.

“I bought 2,500 ha of land in west-northern Poland. This is where we are going to launch production of the fuel. I’ve invested PLN 80m (EUR 23.3m) already. This is going to be a plant similar to that one of Trzebinia producing 100,000-150,000 tons of rape. We have already bought the machines, we have provided rape deliveries for several years. We’re launching production at the end of the year”, Jozef Wojciechowski said.

“We are building two storage houses for 50,000 tons and 20,000 tons of rape”, Roman Kobylinski, REM SA CEO and Jozef Wojciechowski’s cousin said.

Because the fields bought by the businessman are located in a good wind zone, Wojciechowski will build a wind farm there with capacity of 250-300MW, an amount used by a small town.

Jozef Wojciechowski has many other businesses. He owns two five-star hotels. He bought a tourist hotel in Krynica. He has a window-producing company, as well as one producing steel constructions.
