Negative data from the US labor market hit the WIG20index. It lost 1.8 percent today.

The WSE was waiting for US labor data
today. The WIG20 index was trading about 0 percent nearly all day long. Grupa
Lotos fuel giant which has recently lost after negative recommendations, was
growing. Fuel companies were supported by decreasing oil prices. European
markets were losing 2-3 percent. mWIG40 index was doing better. Duda meat
producer and Netia telecom rose while Kopex, the producer of mining equipment,
continued its rebound started several days ago when the company said it would
buy back its shares.
Bad news from the USA hit the 20 share blue chips index. It lost 1.8 percent
which is a relatively good result. Next to Grupa Lotos, Cersanit was among the
best performers. The tile producer continued its upward trend started several
weeks ago.
This week was good for several banks and homebuilding companies. TVN media
group managed to grow in the last five days. The WIG20 index has lost 9 points
this week.
