Warsaw (Puls Biznesu) – Zbigniew Zelaznicki, the head of Warsaw prosecutor’s office said that he had received two files to start investigation at Mega Avans. The company, the owner of two extra large stores selling RTV and home appliances products, did not pay deliverers. Hi-End Studio, distributor of Hitach, Amtech or Cabasse is one of the suitors. ‘Mega Avans wanted to cheat my company. They did not pay for a big part of the equipment delivered. They refused to give it back. Their management offered us very bad conditions of debt repayment, threatening with their bankruptcy’, Marcin Nadgrodkiewicz, the owner of Hi-End Studio said. NTT System, the deliverer of computers and IT equipment filed the second suit. ‘If they pay us the debts, we may withdraw the suit’, Jacek Kozubowski NTT deputy CEO said.

Mega Avans may have over 100 debtors, including Sony Poland. Sony is calm as the liabilities were insured and the company will receive its money. Audio Klan, the distributor of Yamaha will file yet another suit against Mega Avans. ‘We will do this in the near future’, Dariusz Przadka, deputy CEO of Audio Klan said.

In November, Invest (former Carcade Invest) took control over Mega Avans. Invest is having troubles itself. It bought the stake from four founders: Market Plus, Ratex Plus, Domator and Sukces. Market Plus is the shareholder of Avans Polska, a company running several hundred small shops with RTV and home appliances products under the logo Avans.
