Within the next year PZU is expected to buy the Lithuanian Lindra for around LIL22m (EUR6m) and invest a further LIL10m (EUR3m) over the next five years. This was the last major insurer in this country to retain in its Lithuanian ownership. The supervisory board of the Lithuanian company is due to meet on 8 March and is expected to confirm the deal.
