Warsaw (Puls Biznesu) – The Slovakian integrator has ambitious plans. It wants to acquire Polish and foreign companies as early as this year.

Asseco Slovakia is going to offer the Polish investors up to 360,000 shares. The IT company controlled by Asseco Poland, already listed on the Warsaw Stock Exchange, hopes to raise PLN 62-79m (EUR 15.6-19.8m). Small investors may subscribe till September 14-19th while institutional once till September 20-22nd.

“We plan the IPO in the first decade of October”, Marcin Sadlej representing CA IB which runs the issue said.

The funds raised on the stock exchange will be spent on acquisitions. First, two Slovakian companies will be acquired. Then, 2-3 Czech firms will be bought. These transactions should be concluded as early as this year. Than, Czech PVT controlled by Prokom will be acquired. All these companies forecast PLN 270m of sales and PLN 13.5m of net income this year.

“They may be worth PLN 130m. We want to have controlling stakes, we do not have to buy 100 percent every time. We want to spend PLN 55-85m on the acquisitions”, Jozef Klein, Asseco Slovakia CEO said.
