Centrozap builds a plant and a hotel

Warsaw (Puls Biznesu) – In order to start exploration of Russian woods, Centrozap needs to build a new industrial town.

Centrozap which has a concession to explore woods in Komi republic, wants to build a wood processing factory. But first, it has to build a hotel. CentroWoodKom, Centrozap subsidiary, has just signed a contract to build a hotel. OstroStoj company will be responsible for construction works.

“Nearly 1,400 people will be employed at the project. We need to provide the whole infrastructure for the investment. We also need to build roads, a health center or a building for the fire engine”, Jaroslaw Latacz, Centrozap spokesman enumerated.

There are 186 km from Centrozap’s planned plant to the nearest big city. It will cost PLN 28.8m (EUR 8.5m) to build the hotel. The whole project in Russia is evaluated at PLN 300m.
