Warsaw (Puls Biznesu) – The WIG20 index fell for the second consecutive day on Thursday. The situation will not be much changed in the near future, analysts believe.

The 20 share blue chips index lost 1.39 percent to 3,024.19 points on Thursday. Shares worth PLN 900m changed hands. Because the U.S. markets are falling now, the Warsaw market may open down tomorrow. Then, however, a rebound is possible.

Analysts believe that the decreases in Poland are the result of negative moods on the European and U.S. markets. They expect that till the middle of September, the WIG20 index will stay in the range of 3,000-3,100 points. Then, the stock may fall on the concern that the third quarter results are not good. Last year’s results were very good so it will be hard to indicate growth dynamics, analysts warn.
