Warsaw (Puls Biznesu) – Biopaliwa, a company from the group of Zbigniew Komorowski, has a Swedish partner. SEKAB Svensk Etanolkeim bought shares worth over PLN 18m (EUR 4.7m).

Biopaliwa, a company whose 99.9 percent stake belongs to Polskie Mlyny, a company of Zbigniew Komorowski, had its capital raised in October to PLN 37.7m when shares worth over PLN 18.4m were issued. The stock was acquired by Swedish SEKAB Svensk Etanolkeim  bio-ethanol producer. The company got a credit in Raiffeisen Bank Polska and is going to build an installation with capacity of 140m liters annually.

Biopaliwa representatives refuse to comment on the transaction. The company did not want to say what’s the value of the shares issued later on. It is possible that they were offered to SEKAB. Today, Akwawit and Polmos Wroclaw, two companies from Brasco group owned by Aleksander Gudzowaty are Poland’s biggest bio-ethanol producers. The group has capacity of 150m liters of bio-ethanol annually.
