International private equity fund Advent International is planning on investing in two projects in this country before long and is negotiating on two others which could come on line in the first quarter of next year. More than USD40m could be placed in these projects.
Advent has given up on the new economy and is backing traditional production and service companies.
Advent’s Polish investments so far are the Warsaw Distribution Center warehousing and office complex (1994), Star Foods (1995), @entertainment (1996), Internet Securities (1997), Slag Recycling Poland (1998), Radio Zet (1999), Hogart (2000), Radio Kolor (2000) and media firm Zone Vision this year.
