WIG20 index rebounds on Wednesday

Warsaw (Puls Biznesu) – Rises in the stock market started today with the news that KGHM copper producer would pay out dividend four times higher than its management planned before. The company rose, and so did the giants of the Polish stock market, including PKN Orlen and TPSA. The WIG20 index ended the day at 2,011.39 points, or 1.53 percent higher.

The company rose, and so did the giants of the Polish stock market, including PKN Orlen and TPSA. The WIG20 index ended the day at 2,011.39 points, or 1.53 percent higher.

BPH bank jumped 3.9 percent to its new all-time record of PLN 590 (EUR 146.3) a share. Shares worth PLN 90m changed hands. Prokom IT company rebounded only 0.6 percent after it dived 5 percent on Tuesday. Bioton insulin producer was the best performer today. The company will get 24.6m of subsidy for its new investment.
