| Zarząd Jastrzębskiej Spółki Węglowej S.A. („Spółka”, „JSW”) w nawiązaniu do informacji zawartych w Raporcie bieżącym nr 16/2022 informuje, iż w dniu 29 kwietnia 2022 roku podjął uchwałę o wystąpieniu siły wyższej w JSW i poinformowaniu kontrahentów Spółki o jej wystąpieniu oraz jej konsekwencjach dla zobowiązań objętych działaniem siły wyższej. W przypadku Ruchu Zofiówka KWK „Borynia-Zofiówka”, na podstawie decyzji Dyrektora Okręgowego Urzędu Górniczego w Rybniku wstrzymany został ruch zakładu górniczego w obszarze wystąpienia zdarzenia. W przypadku KWK „Pniówek” ze względów bezpieczeństwa otamowany został rejon, w którym doszło do zdarzenia i aktualnie nie można określić czasu otamowania tego rejonu. W wyniku dokonanych analiz został wstępnie oszacowany wpływ ww. zdarzeń na zmniejszenie produkcji węgla do końca 2022 roku, na około 400 tys. ton łącznie. Ponadto Spółka informuje, że na dzień sporządzenia niniejszego raportu nie jest możliwy do określenia pełny wpływ na perspektywy Spółki i jej Grupy w przyszłości. W przypadku istotnych zmian wynikających z prowadzonych analiz JSW będzie informowała odrębnymi raportami bieżącymi. |

| Subject: Announcement of force majeure in JSW Body of the report: In reference to the information in Current Report no. 16/2022 the Management Board of Jastrzębska Spółka Węglowa S.A. (“Company”, “JSW”) reports that on 29 April 2022 it adopted a resolution on the occurrence of force majeure in JSW and the notification of the Company’s business partners of its occurrence and the ensuing consequences for the obligations affected by the operation of force majeure. On the basis of the decision made by the Director of the Regional Mining Authority in Rybnik regarding the Zofiówka Section of KWK Borynia-Zofiówka, the operation of this section of the mine where the mine accident occurred has been suspended. For safety reasons the entire region where the mine accident occurred has been sealed off using stoppings in KWK Pniówek and it is not currently possible to specify how long this region will be sealed off. As a result of the analyses conducted, the impact exerted by these mine accidents in terms of reduced coal production until the end of 2022 has been tentatively estimated to be roughly 400 thous. tons. Moreover, the Company reports that as at the date of preparing this report, it is not possible to specify the full impact on the future prospects of the Company and of the JSW Group. In the event of material changes stemming from the analyses conducted, JSW will publish information in the form of separate current reports. |
