Long distance chat
Energis Polska has requested that TPSA define the conditions of long distance connections.
The company won the long distance concession on 28 December paying EUR23m for it, although it still needs to sign an agreement with the former monopoly operator in order to start operations.
Energis Polska is now the third long distance competitor to TPSA. The other two companies, Netia 1 and Niezależny Operator Międzystrefowy (NOM) now have the negotiating behind them although they could not find common ground with TPSA and the matter has gone to arbitration.
Energis Polska has begun to work on a wide band system for voice and data transmission which will be added to the 30,000km network of Energis plc.
Energis claims that it will invest around USD300m in Poland in the next two years.
