PRESS RELEASE Appointment of company posts and of the members of Board committees and Top Management appointments Further to the Shareholders’ Meeting which took place on May 11, 2012, the Board of Directors of UniCredit convened and appointed as Chairman of the Board Mr. Giuseppe Vita and confirmed Mr. Federico Ghizzoni as Chief Executive Officer (CEO) and General Manager of the Company with all the powers and authorizations previously given to him. Moreover, the Board appointed as Vice Chairmen Mr Candido Fois (with deputizing functions), Mr Khadem Abdualla Al Qubaisi, Mr Vincenzo Calandra Buonaura, Mr Fabrizio Palenzona. In the same meeting, the UniCredit Board of Directors appointed the Corporate Governance, HR and Nomination Committee, comprised of 9 members. The Committee includes the Chairman of the Board of Directors and the CEO, who are members by right, as well as the following Directors Mr Vincenzo Calandra Buonaura, Mr Fabrizio Palenzona, Mr Luigi Maramotti, Mr Luca Cordero di Montezemolo, Mr Alessandro Caltagirone, Mr Antonio Maria Marocco e Mr Anthony Wyand. The Committee will convene soon, to make proposals to the Board of Directors regarding the composition of the Permanent Strategic Committee, the Remuneration Committee and the Internal Controls and Risks Committee.
